Activity 1:

Why we have bones experiment w/ a rubber glove

Pre-School Science - Why We Have Bones


Activity 2:

Cut out the pieces of this skeleton and help your child to put it together on a piece of black paper. (Yes, I realize it is in a different language but you should be able to figure it out.)


Vocabulary/ Copywork:


All my bones together make up my skeleton. It gives my body support and holds me up.

Activity 3:

Make a skeleton with Q-Tips. Use the Skeleton writing paper for your vocabulary copywork.
As another option, you could put the Q-tips in black Play-Doh.

Learn about the skeletal system with X-Ray Playdough!

Activity 4: 

My Body pg. 20-21: Color & cut out your bones and paste to the wall model of your child's body.
