The Food Guide
Pyramid is a guide to show how much of each kind of food we should eat each
day.
Activity 2:
Find a good diagram of the Food Guide Pyramid for
children, such as the one in the Human
Body Encyclopedia. Using clip art, pictures from magazines, or a grocery
store flyer, cut out pictures of foods from each food group. Create your own
Food Pyramid on a large piece of construction paper. If you have a large amount
of plastic play food, create a life-sized one on the floor.
