Daily Calendar Time

- What is today's date? Song-- use dry erase marker to write in every day
- Days of the Week Printable w/ song
- "Today Is..."/ "Tomorrow Is..." Printable-- use with dry erase markers
- Trace the number of today's date on the Monthly Calendar
- Find the number of today's date on the picture and color it.
- "Today's weather is..." & "Today I Feel..." page w/ dry erase marker
- Color one number per day on the 100's Chart
- #0, #1, & #2 coloring/ tracing pages
- "School Rules" and/or "Our Daily Schedule"
Day 1
Decorate the #3 Poster with ribbons or other objects of your choice. Add to your Number Book.Use Shape Viewers (on popsicle sticks) to find objects around the house of various shapes. Be sure to discuss the names of the shapes as you present them.
Practice Shape Sorting w/ Large Buttons
Play-Doh Fun! Use the #1, 2 & 3 Play-Doh Mats and practice forming the numbers with Play-Doh. You can also add in some Shape Play-Doh Mats.
Practice tracing & writing the number 3 using this fun poem worksheet.
Add the #3 Coloring Page to your Calendar Notebook to trace and color during the week.
Choose a few activities from the Romping & Roaring #3 Pack from 3 Dinosaurs.
Day 2
Decorate the #4 Poster with an object that begins with whatever letter you are working on in reading! Add to your Number Book.
Practice tracing & writing #4 with this catchy poem.
Play the Floor Shape Movement Game.

Day 3

Practice tracing & writing number 5 with its poem.

Day 4
Practice tracing shapes with colored pencils.Dot Marker Shapes ("Shape Coloring" section) & Dot Marker Numbers 1-5
Practice counting 1-5 with teddy bear counters and these Dot Cards
Practice writing numbers 1-5 in a tray of sand.
Play this Sandwich Shop Math Game to practice counting. (You will need several colors of craft foam.)
Review #'s 1-4 with some worksheets from the Romping & Roaring 1-4 Review Pack from 3 Dinosaurs.
