Day 1


- Locate Italy & its capital on a world map. Color it on your blank map of Europe.

- Glue Italy country flag into your passport.

- Learn to say "hello" & "goodbye" in Italian. Add them to your "Say Hello & Goodbye" Mini Book in your lapbook.



- Learn more about Italy from the National Geographic for Kids website.



Day 2



- The Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of Italy's famous landmarks. Watch this video to learn more about it:





- Color a picture of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. While you are coloring, listen to some Italian opera.

- Another famous Italian landmark is the Colosseum. Learn more about it on this video:



- Add the Leaning Tower of Pisa & the Colosseum Landmark Cards to the Famous Landmarks Pocket of your lapbook.


Day 3

- Read about Leonardo DaVinci, a famous artist from Italy. Add him to your Famous People Trading Cards Pocket in your lapbook.

- Read Katie and the Mona Lisa to learn more about this famous painting by Leonardo DaVinci.

- Color a picture of the Mona Lisa.


Day 4


- Choose a few animals from Expedition Earth: Animals of Italy to add to your "Animals of the World" Mini Book.

- Cook up some authentic Italian food!
