Day 1

- Locate France & its’ capital on a world map. Color it on your blank map of Europe, which can be added to your lapbook.

- Glue France Country Flag into passport. (See Introduction.)

- Explore Time4Kids.com France site. Learn to say a couple phrases in French. Write the French words for “Hello” & “Goodbye” in the “Say Hello & Goodbye” Mini Book for your lapbook.



Day 2

Read Children Just Like Me, pg. 32: “Rachel” and complete optional Notebooking Page

- Read a book from the Additional Reading List.



Day 3

- Learn about the Eiffel Tower.

- Craft: Paper Model of the Eiffel Tower

Middle School Paper Projects Worksheets: Eiffel Tower Model

- Begin another lapbook element: Famous Landmarks Pocket. Create the Pocket, then add the Eiffel Tower Landmark Card .


Day 4

Read about animals in France in the Animal Atlas, pg. 30-33.
Choose a few animals from: Expedition Earth Animals of France to add to an “Animals of the World” mini book for your lapbook.

- Bake crepes with bananas & chocolateIf you would like, copy the recipe onto a small card to add to a “Cooking Around the World” mini book for your lapbook.


- Read another book from the additional reading list.
