Complete 1 or 2 Narration Pages from the Reading List each week.
* A Note about Narration Pages-- Being able to re-tell a story is an important skill for younger elementary students to learn. Narration is one of the best ways to do this. I love the simple Illustration/ Handwriting pages at this link. Simply have your student draw a picture about what you read in the story, then have him tell you 2-3 sentences in his own words, about what he read. If he is a good writer, he can write them himself under the picture, or, you can write it for him. Be sure to record the title of the book at the top!
